I’m working with a top-tier lighting and controls distributor to help them hire a National Account Exec!
Ideally we’d like this person in Florida; Miami would be awesome, but for the right person, we’re open to other markets. This is not on the multi-retail, store-in-a-box type of national account manager; this role is focused on very high-value, complex commercial projects and requires someone who understands that side of the business and can help expand enterprise accounts in the commercial, multi-family and hospitality channels. Immediate need for a National Accounts Sales Executive to drive growth across large-scale commercial lighting projects. This role focuses on building and expanding relationships with enterprise-level clients and strategic accounts, with an emphasis on complex, high-value projects.
This is a high-impact, business-building role for a sales professional who thrives in a performance-driven environment and enjoys working on sophisticated, multi-stakeholder projects.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and grow national account relationships across enterprise and commercial segments
– Identify and pursue new business opportunities with developers, ownership groups, and corporate clients
– Drive large, complex project sales involving multiple manufacturers and coordinated delivery schedules
– Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement through project close
– Collaborate with internal teams including estimating, procurement, and operations to ensure successful execution
– Expand presence in key verticals such as commercial, multifamily, and hospitality
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in national accounts or strategic sales within lighting, electrical, or related industries
– Demonstrated success selling into developers, ownership groups, or enterprise clients
– Experience managing large, project-based sales opportunities
– Strong relationship-building and business development skills
– Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
– Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-based environment
