I have an immediate need for a quotes pro who really knows what they’re doing! If your background includes quoting lighting, switchgear, commodities, wire and cable, or other electrical products and you’re looking for a very cool place to work, this is it!
Candidates can come from a rep, distributor or manufacturer; distribution experience preferred, which actually super valuable to the role itself.

- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination
- Develop and manage quotations for commercial and specialty market projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to company standards.
- Collaborate with branch managers, salespeople, and customers to understand project requirements and produce accurate job quotes.
- Maintain detailed records of all quotations and related communications, recording outcomes for future reference and analysis.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional service throughout the quotation process.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the quotation process.
- Coordinate with operations, sales reps, designers, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide regular reporting detailing jobs quoted, including Job Name, Bid Date, Customer Name, Salesperson, Branch Number, Vendors, Cost, Sell Price, Margin and Outcomes.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the quotation process.
- Perform other miscellaneous functions as requested.
Desired Skills:
- Sound electrical product knowledge
- Strong computer aptitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to generate professional and appropriate emails.
- Requires ability to learn appropriate software quoting applications.
