Develop, drive, and support the growth of our industrial sales division to expand our company footprint. Work closely with appropriate key contributors, i.e., branch managers, sales personnel, marketing, and purchasing, to develop sales strategies, identifying target accounts and market focus and product focus and availability. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships. Identify training needs and appropriate solutions for sales associates.
Essential Skills and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead the industrial sales team in the identified region.
  • Work with the managers and sales personnel to cultivate and maintain key customer relationships.
  • Develop strategies to increase sales in local markets.
  • Work with purchasing to determine product needs, cultivating and solidifying strong vendor relations, and leveraging them to effectively grow sales.
  • Ensure personnel needs are sufficient to provide product expertise and meet customer expectations. Assess and identify training gaps, determine, and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Review and monitor sales and pricing reports, track targets and progress.
  • Provide overall guidance and direction to managers and salespersons in industry-related sales and pricing.
  • Local traveling is required.

  • Background in distribution is a plus.
  • A bachelor’s degree is a plus.
