Today marks my official start to Year 2!
The last 12 months have been the craziest, busiest, most fulfilling, and, surprisingly, most profitable of my career. When I started Wholesale Recruiting Solutions, the only thing I knew was the industry…I left behind all of my contacts, the technology, the support, and most importantly, the brand I worked tirelessly to make resonate with the industry.
I wasn’t sure I would be able to replicate it, I sure wasn’t expecting to improve on it, but I did. I, maybe like you, live to prove those who doubted me wrong. Including myself. I didn’t realize that I was one of those people who had “always done it this way”, and I had to take a hard look at every single facet of what made me successful, and what I found was staggering. I’ve been able to test technology I couldn’t even imagine a year ago, and in my business, technology and data are the foundation. The ground floor is Marketing and I’ve been fortunate enough to have one of the most impressive marketing talents on my team. Ana Thompson originally joined me as a recruiter, not long after, we realized that her true talent lay squarely in marketing and operations, and without her help, support, and brilliant ideas, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Shout out to Ana!
Thank you to all who supported and believed in me over this year. I had never really thought about the fact that every one of my clients started just like I did. Of those who rolled the dice and are still actively involved in their business, thank you. The calls and emails of support were always there exactly when I needed them, I learned more about running a business than I had ever imagined, and I am so proud to have these people in my corner.
