#2026117 | Switchgear Designer/Engineer | Electrical Manufacturer

Location: Tomball, TX | Salary: $120,000 - $175,000
I am working with an awesome engineering-focused manufacturer looking to bring on a Switchgear Designer or Engineer to spearhead the design of switchgear and MV projects. Whether you’re a mechanical designer or an electrical engineer, the key in this role is that you know switchgear design inside and out.
In this role, you will create 3D models using Autodesk Inventor, build shop-ready fabrication packages, and work with OEM components (ABB, Siemens, and others) across custom projects.
Ideally, they want 3+ years designing full switchgear lineups (not just sub-assemblies) and strong Autodesk Inventor skills or similar software. The company is based in Tomball, TX. Initially, they would like the role to be in-person to start, with future hybrid potential.
They are targeting $120–175K on base + benefits (health insurance, 401(k) match, PTO).
